Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you (the Customer) and BillFi for use of the BillFi service.

Effective January 1, 2026

This page is maintained by BillFi to answer common questions about how BillFi operates. It is app-owner editable content, not an independent certification or legal advice. Where you need something formal, contact legal@billfi.net.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing the BillFi dashboard, or using any BillFi API, you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2. The service

BillFi provides cloud-hosted software for internet service provider billing, RADIUS/AAA, captive-portal management, subscriber provisioning and mobile-money reconciliation. The feature set available to a Customer is defined by the subscription plan on record.

3. Accounts & access

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping login credentials confidential.
  • Enabling 2FA on any admin account.
  • All activity performed through your account, including by your employees and agents.
  • Ensuring your subscribers' data is collected and processed lawfully in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use BillFi to:

  • Break the law or infringe another party's rights.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) via BillFi's email/SMS channels.
  • Probe, scan, overload or reverse-engineer the service, except where such rights cannot be lawfully waived.
  • Resell the service under another brand without a written reseller agreement.

5. Fees & billing

Fees are described on the Pricing page or in a signed order form. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled per the terms below.

Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, VAT, GST and withholding taxes, which are added on invoice where required. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month, or the maximum permitted by law.

6. Free trial

A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. No card is charged during the trial.

7. Customer data

You retain all rights to data you upload or route through BillFi("Customer Data"). You grant BillFi a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide the service, per our Privacy Policy and DPA.

8. Availability

BillFi targets 99.9% monthly uptime, measured against the admin dashboard and RADIUS endpoints. Enterprise plans may include a written SLA with service credits — refer to your order form.

Excluded from availability calculations: scheduled maintenance (notified in advance), force majeure, and downstream provider incidents (mobile-money gateways, telco NAS, etc.).

9. Suspension & termination

Either party may terminate for material breach uncured after 30 days' written notice. BillFi may suspend an account immediately for non-payment, security threats or acceptable-use violations.

On termination you may export Customer Data for 30 days. After that, data is deleted per the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillFi disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillFi's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

12. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold BillFi harmless from third-party claims arising from your Customer Data, your subscribers, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your order form. If none is stated, the laws of the Republic of Singapore apply, with disputes resolved by the courts of Singapore.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced to Customer admins by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
