Field service scheduling for ISP install & repair teams
Turn install and repair work into a scheduled, auditable workflow. Drag-and-drop dispatch, tech mobile app with offline mode, checklists, photo capture, GPS breadcrumbs and customer SMS ETAs — wired into the customer record.
Dispatch, route, checklist and photo-verify every truck roll — from one board.
What you're probably fighting today
A dry-erase board in the NOC decides who installs what. BillFi turns it into a drag-and-drop calendar with tech capacity and skill matching.
Customers get no ETA. BillFi sends an SMS when the tech is dispatched, en-route and on-site — cutting no-show rates.
Tech says the install is done; no photos, no signal readings. Mandatory checklists + photo capture close the loop.
Everything a Field service & scheduling operator needs
Week / day / map views. Assign jobs to techs by skill, region or load — with capacity and travel-time hints.
Cluster same-day jobs by geography. GPS breadcrumbs prove the tech visited the address.
Install-FTTH, repair-radio, site-survey — each with mandatory steps, required photos and signal thresholds.
iOS + Android. Works offline in the field, syncs when back on data. Photo, signature, barcode scan, inventory pull.
Dispatched → en-route → arrived — automatic SMS to the customer at each transition. Fewer support calls, better NPS.
Time-to-resolve, first-time-fix rate, revisit rate, per-tech scorecards — reports out of the box.
Live in a weekend, not a quarter
New install, ticket-triggered repair or scheduled maintenance — job auto-tagged with customer, plan and gear needed.
Drag onto a tech's day, or auto-assign by skill + region. Route optimises across all assigned jobs.
Mobile app: checklist, photos, signal reading, barcode-scan inventory used, customer signature.
On completion: inventory decremented, customer activated, install fee invoiced, CRM updated.
Plays nicely with your gear
Bring the vendors you already run. BillFi drops into the middle of your stack — no rip-and-replace.
Answers, before you ask
Does the tech app work offline?
Yes. Techs pull the day's jobs on Wi-Fi in the morning; the app queues photos, checklists and inventory writes locally and syncs the moment data returns.
Can we require photos before a job closes?
Yes. Every checklist step can be mandatory, and photo / signal-reading / signature steps can block completion until captured.
How is inventory linked?
The tech barcode-scans (or picks from a list) each item installed. Stock is decremented from the tech's truck stock, and the customer profile records serial numbers for warranty tracking.
Does it send customer ETAs?
Yes — Twilio SMS or WhatsApp on dispatch, on the way (with live map link) and on arrival. All templates are localisable per country.
