MikroTik billing software that just works
Two-way RouterOS API sync, PPPoE + Hotspot provisioning, invoicing, mobile-money payments and instant suspend/reactivate. Made for MikroTik-first ISPs.
Everything you need — in one platform
Native API on 8728/8729 — no fragile SSH scripts. Two-way: BillFi pushes profiles, the router reports session state.
Home fibre and café hotspots, same MikroTik. Plans tag service type; provisioning is automatic.
Payment → RADIUS attributes flip → subscriber online in under 3 seconds. Non-pay → walled garden.
Managed RADIUS included. Point your MikroTik at our endpoint — that's the whole setup.
Auto-invoice, dunning, M-Pesa / bKash / Nagad / MoMo reconciliation, VAT compliance out of the box.
Bandwidth per subscriber, session logs, top talkers, NetFlow — all pulled from the MikroTik.
Upgrade a plan for 500 subscribers in one action. BillFi rolls it out router by router, safely.
Auto-generate per-subscriber queues sized to plan speed. Or hand it off to PCQ — your call.
Subscribers see usage, pay bills and open tickets — no CSR ticket to reset a PPPoE password.
Up and running in a weekend
Add router IP + credentials. BillFi tests the API, imports existing PPP secrets.
Tie each MikroTik profile to a BillFi plan. Or let us auto-map by name.
Set MikroTik RADIUS to our endpoint, add the shared secret.
New signups auto-provision. Payment webhooks handle the rest.
Plays nicely with your gear
Bring the vendors you already run. BillFi drops into the middle of your stack — no rip-and-replace.
Answers, before you ask
What is the best MikroTik billing software?
The best MikroTik billing software talks to RouterOS over its native API (not SSH scripts), keeps PPPoE / Hotspot users in sync in real time, and reactivates payers within seconds. BillFi does all three — plus captive portal, invoicing and mobile-money reconciliation.
Does BillFi work with all MikroTik models?
Yes. Any MikroTik running RouterOS v6.44+ or v7.x is supported — hAP, RB, CCR, CHR virtual routers, everything. We connect via API-SSL on port 8729 (or plain API on 8728).
Can BillFi provision PPPoE and Hotspot on the same router?
Yes — PPPoE for home / FTTH subscribers and Hotspot for cafés or public WiFi, on the same MikroTik, from the same BillFi account. Plans tag which service type they belong to.
How does BillFi suspend non-paying MikroTik users?
When an invoice goes past due, BillFi flips the RADIUS reply attributes (or PPP secret) so the next re-auth lands the subscriber in a walled-garden profile. On payment, the reverse happens in under 3 seconds.
Do I need a separate RADIUS server?
No. BillFi ships cloud FreeRADIUS. Point your MikroTik at our RADIUS endpoint, add the shared secret, done — no server to run.
Can BillFi manage queue trees and simple queues automatically?
Yes. When you assign a plan, BillFi pushes the correct simple queue or queue-tree entry with matching upload / download rate, burst and priority. Plan change = queue update over the API.
Does BillFi support MikroTik PPPoE with static IPs?
Yes — assign a specific IP or an IP-pool range to a subscriber and BillFi sends it as the Framed-IP-Address RADIUS attribute. Great for business customers who need a fixed IP.
Can I run BillFi with multiple MikroTik routers in different areas?
Yes. Add each router as a NAS device, tag it with a location, and BillFi centrally manages subscribers per NAS-IP. Great for multi-POP WISPs and ISPs with distributed FTTH aggregation.
Does BillFi handle MikroTik Hotspot voucher generation?
Yes — batch-generate hotspot vouchers (login/password or code), print or export as PDF, and BillFi provisions them to the MikroTik User Manager or its own RADIUS. Time-limited or data-limited profiles are both supported.
What happens if my MikroTik router goes offline?
BillFi keeps queueing intended actions (create user, apply queue, disconnect) and replays them the moment the router reconnects. You also get an alert within 60 seconds of the router going unreachable.
